The sky’s the limit . . . with support.”
“Facing forty as a career-focused, single woman in New York City, I knew deep down that I desperately wanted to become a mother.
“Knowing it and getting there, though, were clearly two different things, things that would ultimately take me on a three-year roller-coaster ride ending with the greatest prize of all — twin girls.

“What I carry with me most from my experience at Kent Place is the importance of a strong support system and that leaning on others propels you forward in limitless ways. We were taught to reach for the stars and be our best selves. In tenth grade, my friends encouraged me to try out for Cabaret. I’d never stepped foot on a stage (let alone in a musical), yet after hours of practice and with support from amazingly talented teachers, cast mates, and my friends, I stood behind the curtain in my tap shoes, nervous and excited, on opening night.

“A few days after the girls were born, I was lying in my hospital bed when two of my closest friends from Kent Place walked through the door. We laughed, cried, swapped high school stories, and talked about the future for our daughters.

“I’m fortunate to have so many strong women in my life who cheer me on and lend a hand to help in any and every way imaginable. With one another, we’re unstoppable.”
