Dress Code

Primary and Middle Schools

Kent Place has adopted a "Uniform with Choice" in Kindergarten through Grade 8, which represents the commitment to our mission of preparing girls to become leaders in the world. We have chosen a program which is consistent and conservative, yet allows for our girls to showcase creativity and individuality. It is expected that all students arrive at school dressed in approved attire each day. Clothing may be purchased through our exclusive vendor, Lands' End, in a wide variety of styles.

Upper School

Our Upper School students are not required to wear a uniform but they do need to follow a Dress Code; they are encouraged to make clothing choices that allow for comfort and individuality while representing Kent Place School and its mission at all times. Each member of the Upper School community has a responsibility to follow the set guidelines and to cooperate in the spirit of this Dress Code. The Senate reviews the Dress Code and periodically recommends adjustments to the guidelines as needed.
Kent Place School is an all-girls K through 12 independent college preparatory day school with a coeducational Preschool, located in Summit, NJ.
