The Campaign for Kent Place School

Center for Innovation

The Center for Innovation is designed for how girls learn best — by doing. In order for them to become prepared, self-directed problem solvers, we know that girls need spaces where they are motivated to imagine, explore, design, create, collaborate, prototype and apply what they have discovered.

These spaces will be flexible, innovative and transformative in their design in order to inspire learning and spark the imagination and curiosity of the scholars at Kent Place.
The Center for Innovation is a 32,508-square-foot learning center focusing on the study of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, visual arts and mathematics) subjects. The center will include innovation labs, a mathematics studio and classrooms, a STEM lab, a technology center, a library and information center, a media and production studio, a global leadership center, an art gallery, visual arts studios and multiple places for independent and group research and study.
