OVERVIEW

The Ethics in Action: Empathy x Design workshop, is a professional development experience created by the Ethics Institute at Kent Place School, in partnership with Design Thinking experts, Lisa Yokana and Ellen Deutscher. Select educators will work together to create a road map for integrating design and ethics as an essential component of the learning process in their respective middle and high school classrooms. Teachers will leave the workshop with concrete tools to engage students in designing solutions to complex, real world issues using methods adapted from the Ethical Decision-Making Model and Design.
