Kent Place Will Have a Delayed Opening on 11/16

  • Buses will begin pickups two hours later than usual.
  • Middle and Upper Schools - Students should arrive by 9:45 a.m. Classes will begin at 10:00 a.m. Late arrivals will not be counted.
  • Primary School - Kindergarten through grade 5 will begin at 10:10 a.m. Jr. Pre-K and Pre-K will begin at 10:30 a.m.
  • Lunch will be served.
  • All afternoon and evening activities will go on as scheduled.
  • Please do not bring your children to school prior to 9:45 a.m. so our facilities team can prepare the campus.
  • As always we urge you to exercise caution. If the roads in your area are not safe then feel free to keep your child at home.
  • Please note, any change beyond a delay will be communicated by 7:15 a.m.

Why a Girls' School?

"At Kent Place, every decision we make and every program that our faculty and students design, is based on what girls need to thrive today and into the future. As a result, our students show us every day how much power and opportunity exists in limitless possibilities." -Dr. Jennifer C. Galambos, Head of School

The Difference a Girls’ School Makes

At Kent Place, girls do not just have equal opportunity. They have every opportunity. In the classrooms, on the field, and on the stage, they are the ones playing the leading roles. Research shows that boys and girls learn differently. With a deep understanding of how girls learn and succeed, Kent Place provides the resources that allow each girl to reach her full potential. In this environment, girls can be themselves. They gain the self-awareness to express themselves without hesitation, the courage to take on new challenges, and the confidence that leads to success.
