    Kent Place School is seeking a part time brass instructor who is committed to fostering a love for instrumental performance in young students in our thriving orchestral program. Responsibilities include: beginning instructional classes,  Grades 3 - 5, middle and upper school sectional rehearsals, private lessons, and participation in student performances. Requirements: minimum three years teaching experience; Master’s degree in academic field or in Teaching preferred.

    The Primary School Math Coordinator is responsible for working with the Primary School Director, the Math Department Chair and all Primary School math teachers to ensure effective teaching of mathematics and thoughtfully planned curricular implementation in Jr. Pre-K through grade 5. The coordinator will work closely with the grade-level teaching teams on instructional strategies, individual student support, and enrichment opportunities. The Primary School Math Coordinator reports to the Primary School Director.

    Kent Place School is seeking a mathematics teacher with strong mathematical thinking skills to inspire upper school school girls to problem solve and reason.  Candidates should have the ability to use interdisciplinary applications and technology to actively involve students, and design lessons that challenge students within a supportive environment. Responsibilities will also include advising a group of students and participating in community events. Requirements: minimum three years Mathematics teaching experience; Master’s degree in academic field or in Teaching preferred, along with ability to teach a range of math courses through calculus.

  • Director of Health Services

    Kent Place School seeks a Director of Health Services to provide leadership and oversight of the health office operations and serve as a health and wellness resource to the school community. Responsibilities include managing daily health office operations, promoting student health, ensuring compliance with State regulations and school policies and procedures, providing health guidance and cultivating health and wellness initiatives within the community. The Director of Health Services also fulfills the duties and responsibilities of a school nurse. This is a full-time, 12-month position. Candidates should possess  knowledge of school age and adolescent child growth and development, current health issues and wellness education; working knowledge of Federal, State and local laws and regulations affecting school health services; strong technology skills and familiarity with Google suite and online health record systems.
