New Chief Enrollment and Strategy Officer

New Chief Enrollment and Strategy Officer

After a nationwide search, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Allison Brunhouse as Chief Enrollment and Strategy Officer, effective July 1, 2022.

"Ms. Brunhouse is an enthusiastic and dedicated administrator, and I’m confident that our enrollment, external programs, and strategic vision will remain strong under her leadership," says Dr. Jennifer Galambos, Head of School.

Ms. Brunhouse has spent the majority of her professional career in independent schools, most notably 14 years at The Pingry School. Serving for a number of years there as director of admission and enrollment, she then became Director of Institutional Advancement, charged with overseeing Pingry’s admission, communications, and development teams. She led the school to the highest number of admission applications, record-setting annual giving, and a high-level communications strategy during COVID-19. Recently, she is the director of enrollment management at Gill St. Bernard’s, where she was tasked to build school awareness, grow enrollment, and strengthen all-school partnerships.

Before her time serving independent schools, Ms. Brunhouse worked at FOX Broadcasting Company and CBS. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College.

“I have long admired Kent Place as a school that has a strong community and seeks to deliver on its mission to empower girls to be brave and brilliant women in the world,” she says. “When I joined Kent Place as a Preschool parent, I realized my admiration was well deserved yet required greater respect. I was inspired by Dr. Galambos’s leadership as she directed the KPS community with such a powerful and personal approach that I immediately felt the greatness of what it means to be a Kent Place dragon. And so, I am beyond grateful and humbled to be joining the community as the Chief Enrollment and Strategy Officer. I’ve become more excited about the opportunity through each conversation, and my visit to campus earlier this month confirmed what I had long known — that Kent Place is a special place.”

Ms. Brunhouse is succeeding Julia Wall, Assistant Head of School for Enrollment and Strategy, who will become the Head of School at Stuart Country Day School in Princeton, New Jersey, this summer.

Continues Dr. Galambos, "Ms. Brunhouse is a passionate, thoughtful, and strategic school leader who will elevate our mission to empower girls. We look forward to welcoming Allie and her family to Kent Place this summer."
