Making Ice Hockey History: Molly Brozowski ’26 Is New Jersey’s All-Time Leading Scorer

Molly Brozowski ’26 has cemented her legacy in New Jersey ice hockey history. She began her senior season with 94 goals and her eyes on number 100. No one imagined what would happen next.

By the second game, she’d already hit 100 goals. After 18 games, Molly had amassed 53 goals, smashing her previous record of 41. In mid-January, coaches began to wonder if Molly might be close to the state record — 134, set in 2007. Molly stayed focused but worried only about helping her team, not statistics.

On February 25, in the opening round of the state tournament, Molly scored eight goals, surpassing the New Jersey state record and writing her name in the history books. Molly finished her high school career with an astounding total of 147.

Molly’s record is a testament to her talent, but also to her hard work and dedication to her team. She rarely missed a game and scored in 57 out of 65 of them. This year, Molly scored in every game she played in.

The senior captain acknowledges her team’s role in her success: “Being the all-time goal scorer in New Jersey is something really special,” she says, “but I couldn’t have accomplished that without the support of my teammates and coaches. I’m grateful to the team and for the culture we built in our program, one in which we push one another to be better every day.”

Molly has been recognized by her peers and other coaches: For example, she was named the 2024–2025 Cohen Division Most Valuable Player, and in 2025–2026 the Dragons moved up to compete in the Librera Division. Molly’s performance then earned her the Librera Division Most Valuable Player. Molly has captained the varsity ice hockey team for two seasons in addition to captaining the varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams. She has been a four-year varsity athlete in all three sports.

Molly’s achievements will be in the Kent Place and New Jersey history books for a long time. Her impact on the programs she played in will be remembered for her work ethic and her leadership. Long after a season’s final buzzer, her standard of play will be something all ice hockey athletes strive for.

This spring, there’s still opportunity to see Molly in action: You can catch her captaining the Varsity Lacrosse team. Be sure to check out the athletics calendar, to cheer on all of our spring Dragons.
