Amy Meislin Pollack, Class of 1970 and a children’s-book author, returned to the place where she was first inspired to write — the Kent Place Primary School. Amy visited the fourth- and fifth-grade classrooms to read from one of her books and lead writing workshops to foster creativity and explore the art of storytelling.
Kent Place Website Recognized for Excellence by Vega Digital Awards
Kent Place School’s brand-new website — which you’re visiting right now! — is officially an award-winner. Its launch was August 31, right at the beginning of the 2022–2023 academic year.
We’re excited to announce that our website has earned a Silver Level Award from Vega Digital, which highlights pioneers in an ever-changing digital landscape. This award recognizes and celebrates excellence in websites, video, mobile, social media, animation, marketing, and podcasts — locally and internationally.
The Web redesign was the brainchild of Rachel Naggar P ’25, Director of Communications. In consultation with Finalsite, and with input from many KPS faculty and staff, the school’s virtual home now elevates Kent Place’s vision and boldly tells its story.
“I’m thrilled that our hard work and creativity has been recognized in this way,” says Mrs. Naggar. “There’s nothing more fulfilling than hearing from community members, peer schools, and prospective families that they’ve connected with a project you’ve been passionate about. It’s a communications director’s dream to be able to collaborate with creative partners to build something that presents her school’s mission powerfully.”
Kent Place's three external programs — the Ethics Institute (www.ethicsatkentplace.org), the Girls’ Leadership Institute (www.leadershipatkentplace.org), and Summer Camp (www.summeratkentplace.org) — also enjoy redesigned websites.
We encourage all visitors to explore, engage, and learn more about what makes Kent Place a dynamic and forward-thinking school. Welcome! And enjoy!
