Kent Place Shines in Green and Gold at Inaugural Sport and Spirit Day

Kent Place Shines in Green and Gold at Inaugural Sport and Spirit Day

On Saturday, September 28, Kent Place hosted its inaugural Sport and Spirit Day, a community-wide event that brought out our prodigious school pride. From exciting games and friendly matches to activities for all ages, we created lasting memories and strengthened the bonds that make our school special.

On the field, Varsity Field Hockey triumphed over Point Pleasant Boro, 3-1; inside the gym, Varsity Volleyball dominated South Plainfield in straight sets.

The festivities included making spirit wear and tailgating with delicious food.

Athletic Director Vicky Browne says, “I am filled with joy and pride for our incredible community. Celebrating our student-athletes on the courts and fields brings such energy and inspiration to our teams and coaches. I’m thrilled to continue this exciting new tradition for many years to come. Go Dragons!”

A heartfelt thank-you to the Dragon Athletic Club parent volunteers, the Advancement Team, our student-athletes, and team parents, who all worked enthusiastically to make the day unforgettable, and to all who came out to take part and cheer. Together, we celebrated the unifying power of sports.
