Kent Place Honors Student-Athletes Who Sign NCAA Letters of Intent

On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, Kent Place School hosted a ceremony to witness three senior student-athletes sign NCAA letters of intent to play Division I athletics at the collegiate level. Family, friends, teammates, coaches, and Kent Place faculty and staff were in attendance to honor this exciting milestone for our students.

The following seniors signed letters of intent during the ceremony: Elisa Gomes, who will be playing lacrosse at Stony Brook University; Emma Claire Quinn, who will be playing lacrosse at Boston College; and Taylor Seig, who will be playing golf at the College of Charleston. Kent Place is tremendously proud of these individuals and their commitment to their studies as well as their teams.

In her opening remarks, Vicky Browne, Kent Place Director of Athletics, shared, “What takes someone to the next level is self-confidence, belief, talent, repetition, and sheer determination. The endless practices, set pieces rehearsed over and over again, additional weight training sessions, countless miles, and sacrifices you have made to prioritize your athletic excellence truly echos Kent Place’s mission statement — you are all shining examples of what is possible and role models for what our future athletes at KPS can strive for. Kent Place will always be here, cheerleading for you.”

Kent Place is pleased to support all student-athletes who are interested in pursuing their athletic career at the next level. We look forward to celebrating more of our college-committed student-athletes over the next few months.
