ICYMI: Your Guide to the Fall 2026 Issue of Kent Place Magazine

By now, you’ve received the fall 2026 issue of Kent Place, filled with stories that capture the people, experiences, and connections that make our school special. From students discovering new passions and faculty making a lasting impact to alumnae imparting their wisdom in the wider world, this issue celebrates the many ways our community learns, grows, and leads.

Still making your way through the issue? We’ve created a quick guide to help you explore the highlights, whether you have just a few minutes or time to settle in and enjoy from cover to cover.

If you’ve got 15 minutes . . .

Dive into our feature stories. On page 26, we celebrate the Class of 2026 with reflections from Commencement that honor the sisterhood of our newest graduates — a bond that will last long after graduation. On page 32, Speaking the Same Language tells the story of two Kent Place alumnae who found themselves unexpectedly reunited at an independent school on Boston’s North Shore. And on page 38, discover how electives at Kent Place invite students to go Beyond the Required — putting characters on trial, building theremins, conducting mathematical research, and discovering passions they never knew they had.

If you’ve got 10 minutes . . .

Turn to pages 4–25 of the Commons Room for a look at our exceptional students and everything they’ve been doing in the classroom, on the playing fields, on stage, and everywhere else. Dragons Claim the Crown tells the story of the Varsity Lacrosse team that made history this spring, capturing its first-ever Non-Public State Championship with an 8–7 victory over Oak Knoll. See what Avery Delaney ’27 and Katherine MacKay ’27 are up to in the classroom and beyond. Go behind the scenes of the Upper School Performing Arts Department’s Repertoire with Purpose and the KPS Ethical Entrepreneurs & Young Innovator$ (KEEY$) program’s Innovation with Impact. Get some Leadership Lessons from Director of the Upper School Debbie Fermo, or see how Kent Place’s Athletics program gives student-athletes The Space to Lead with confidence and independence.

If you’ve got 5 minutes . . .

Check in with our recent graduates and keep pace with our other, extraordinary alumnae. On page 49, meet the seven Class of 2026 graduates who shared a special bond — and now a Kent Place diploma — with mothers, aunts, and even a grandmother. On page 50, read a lovely piece written by Whitney Tancred ’92 about her best friend, Audrey Bellezza ’92, a television producer–turned–author who has written three modernized Jane Austen novels while also guiding a nonprofit inspired by her lung cancer diagnosis. On page 58, learn about Kate (Swayne) Wilson ’99, who leads environmental and social responsibility at Vail Resorts. Browse photos from Alumnae Weekend 2026 on page 52, and turn to page 72 for a Q&A with Gabrielle Sher ’11, first-time author of Odessa. Are you a Kent Place alumna? Find out what your fellow graduates are up to in the Class Notes, starting on page 59.
