The team at the Ethics Institute welcomed experts, thought leaders, teachers, and school administrators to take part in ethical dialogue with parents through a series of workshops.
Dragons Wrap Up Monumental Winter Season
The Kent Place Upper School Dragons put in a historic season filled with top personal achievements and epic team wins.
Varsity Basketball had its best season in years, Fencing won gold at the District 5 tournament, ice hockey made its third consecutive Cohen Cup final, squash went to its second Nationals in Philadelphia, swimming placed third in the Union County Championships, and a number of athletes achieved personal bests in winter track.
Swimmer Ayah Bedri ’28 had an outstanding season, securing several top finishes. Her most impressive came at the Meet of Champions, where she came in first place in the 100-breast event with a personal best of 1:02.54.
Junior ice hockey captain Molly Brozowski was voted Cohen Division Most Valuable Player. She also etched her name in the Kent Place history books by scoring 41 goals. The previous record was 38, set by Megan Sanford ’18 during the 2016–17 season.
Sophomore Riley Crooks had another phenomenal fencing season, leading Kent Place with a record of 18-1 and helping secure the Dragons a sixth-place finish (out of 55 competitors) in Sabre at the Santelli Fencing Tournament. Riley went undefeated at Districts and won gold. She also competed with Team Canada, and brought home the bronze at the Panamerican Cadet Championships
