Lisa Damour, PhD to Speak and Hold Book Signing at Kent Place School

Kent Place School is pleased to announce that bestselling author Lisa Damour, PhD will be speaking on “Under Pressure: Confronting the Epidemic of Stress and Anxiety in Girls,” and holding a book signing at Kent Place School’s Hyde and Watson Theatre on Wednesday, April 22 at 7:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Damour is a psychologist, author, teacher, speaker and consultant who directs Laurel School’s Center for Research on Girls, writes a monthly adolescence column for the New York Times’ Well Family online report, is a regular contributor on CBS News, and serves as a Senior Advisor to the Schubert Center for Child Studies at Case Western Reserve University. She is the author of two New York Times best-selling books Untangled: Guiding Teenage Girls Through the Seven Transitions into Adulthood and Under Pressure: Confronting the Epidemic of Stress and Anxiety in Girls. Dr. Damour draws on years of clinical experience and the latest research to provide sound, practical guidance to girls as well as to their parents, teachers, and advocates.
