February 19, 2019
Sonali Kamilla, Sahana Kapoor and Nora Lee
Sonali Kamilla served out the first game of the match against Newark Academy on Monday this week. The whole squad served well and won the game 25-11. Sonali served five straight points including one ace. Sonali has worked tirelessly on her serve and she is one of our most consistent servers. Great job Sonali! Sahana Kapoor served up a storm in the second game of the match on Monday and put the Dragons out of reach with 8 straight points. Sahana has worked on her serve this season and has become a more consistent and stronger server. Sahana should be commended for her hard work and dedication to improving her serve this season. Nice job Sahana. Nora Lee single handedly mounted a comeback in the second game of the match against Heritage on Wednesday. She got to the service line with the Dragons trailing 12-23. She served the team back into the thick of the match and was able to mix her serves up enough to keep Heritage off balance. Serving seven points in row Nora left the service stripe with the score 19-24. Great work this season Nora!
