Kent Place is proud to announce that Yale senior Sophie Huttner — Kent Place Class of 2018 — has been named a 2023 Rhodes Scholar. Sophie, a global affairs major, is one of just 32 students out of a competitive pool of more than 2,500 selected for the prestigious academic program, which is hosted by the University of Oxford.
Building on a foundation of sportsmanship and teamwork, the KPS swimming program has been finishing among the top schools in the country — each and every season, our Dragons set pool and school records.
The team trains and has meets at Fairleigh Dickinson University, and is supported by strength training and yoga during dryland sessions.
Our coaches have extensive experience at all ability levels and emphasize individualized instruction, with an emphasis on steady improvement throughout the season. Our hardworking swimmers consider individual goals as important as team goals. We welcome you to join us.
Levels: Varsity and Middle School
Participation in athletics is an integral part of the overall school experience for our students, and our athletic teams are a source of pride for the Kent Place community. Our philosophy is to provide a competitive athletic program where our student-athletes can reach their full potential.
