By now, you’ve received the fall 2024 issue of Kent Place magazine. Haven’t had a chance to dive in just yet? Don’t fret! We’ve put together a guide to help you navigate this issue. No matter how much time you have to enjoy it, you’re sure to be amazed.
Ice Hockey
Kent Place Dragons first took the ice in the winter of 2015 and quickly established the program as one of the finest in New Jersey.
In 2022, KPS was a part of history, as the Dragons became one of 11 schools that were recognized as the first girls' hockey programs in the state. Ice hockey is a great team sport, and our program teaches both new and veteran players to raise their game. Student-athletes practice and play at the prestigious Prudential Center, home of the New Jersey Devils. During off-ice time, the girls enjoy strength training, yoga, and team building.
KPS is a part of the new (2022) NJIIHL, which comprises the Librera and Cohen leagues. During the season, the Dragons play teams throughout New Jersey. KPS and the other teams in our conference pay a “participation fee,” which offsets the cost of facility rental. For more information, please speak with the Director of Athletics.
