Networking & Mentoring
Kent Place graduates succeed in a wide range of endeavors, from science and business to writing and the arts. Many alumnae maintain active bonds with Kent Place, coming back to campus to share their experiences with students and other alumnae.
YOUNG ALUMNAE CAREER PLANNING AND NETWORKING EVENT
Kent Place hosts annual events in which a panel of alumnae in various fields shares career guidance and practical advice with current seniors, college-age alumnae, recent college graduates, and current/past parents. Topics include determining a career path, searching for a job, interviewing, and networking. A reception follows that allows guests to network and talk informally with those who are experienced in their areas of interest.
ALUMNAE BOARD MENTORING PROGRAM
Recognizing the importance of a strong network in today’s professional world, the Alumnae Association Board oversees a mentoring program that creates opportunities for young alumnae to gain valuable career direction. Interested in mentoring a young alumna? The program also oversees available internships, helping place college-age alumnae in positions during the summer or winter break. For questions or more information, please email Lainey Segear, Senior Director of Community Engagement, at segearl@kentplace.org, or (908) 273-0900, ext. 335.
