Admission procedures for primary school

Kindergarten

Submit the Application for Admission, along with $75, online by December 18, 2024, by clicking the APPLY ONLINE button on our website. Note: Decision notifications for all Round One applicants will be sent by March 1. In order to be considered in the Round One pool, your application must be submitted by the December 18 deadline. Round Two applicants will be considered only if space permits.
All families applying for financial aid must submit their financial aid application to Clarity by January 17, 2025, after submitting their application for admission. If applying to Kent Place is cost-prohibitive, get in touch with Adrianna DeGazon, Director of Financial Aid, at degazona@kentplace.org, to request a fee waiver.
After you have submitted an application for admission, you will be directed to a webpage with instructions regarding how to schedule your parent interview and your child’s visit and academic readiness assessment.
Ask your child’s current teacher to complete the Kindergarten Teacher Evaluation Form. The form should be completed no sooner than December 1 and submitted to the Admission Office no later than January 17. The Kindergarten Teacher Evaluation Form can be sent directly to the teacher using the email link found in your child's checklist tab in the online Application for Admission.
Parents are welcome to complete the optional Parent Supplement by January 17.

Forms should be completed by teachers no sooner than December 1 and submitted to the Admission Office no later than January 17. The Grades 2–5 Teacher Recommendation Form can be sent directly to the teachers by using the email link found in your child's checklist tab in the online Application for Admission.
