It was an amazing — and busy! — first week at Kent Place as the community kicked off the school’s 130th academic year. Read on for a recap of some highlights.
The Kent Place Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of paintings by Emi Winter from Monday, September 16 through Friday, October 25, 2024. An opening reception with the artist will be Friday, September 20, 5:00–7:00 p.m.
It was a bright, sunny day on Wednesday, September 4, when students, faculty, and staff returned to Kent Place for the beginning of its 130th academic year.
Their most triumphant season ever, much of Mock Trial's successes, can be attributed to the team’s encouraging leadership.

As the end of the academic year came to a close, 20 Middle Schoolers, led by six KPS faculty, traveled more than 3,000 miles — via three separate flights, plus a ferry ride — for the adventure of a lifetime.
On June 2, the Central Jersey Model United Nations Conference (CJMUNC) brought together students from more than 20 schools across the region for a day of diplomatic simulation and debate.
On June 1, 2024, Kent Place School held the 2024 Commencement outside on the campus graduation lawn. Seniors then walked one by one through the daisy chain and were seated as a class for the final time as students.

The Class of 2024 will attend 49 colleges (37 private, 12 public) in 20 states, the District of Columbia, and Scotland.
Kent Place School is pleased to announce that nine members of the graduating Class of 2024 were recruited to play college sports.
On Tuesday, May 21, the Upper School community celebrated the academic achievements of our Bioethics, Student-Designed Research, and Independent Study students.
Gabrielle Liberman ’24 was named a Presidential Scholar, one of the highest honors awarded to high schoolers by the president of the United States. Jennifer Dwyer, received a Distinguished Teacher honor from the Presidential Scholars Program.
