Pre-K Camp
| June 23 - August 1
Boys and girls ages 4 and 5
Camp fun for boys and girls who have had a full year of
nursery school, but will not be starting kindergarten in
the fall. Activities include arts & crafts, music and movement,
story time, manipulatives and indoor and outdoor play in
our air-conditioned Primary building and adjoining playground.
The program
fosters each child's overall development.
Junior Camp | June 30 - August 8
Boys and girls entering kindergarten and first grade
Enjoy summer at its best: free-spirited play, picnics, theme
days and visiting performers. Activities, coordinated
around a weekly theme, include arts & crafts, music, computers,
stories, nature study and cooking. Physical activities include
free play on our playgrounds and sports and games to develop gross motor skills. Full-day campers swim twice a week at the Connection for Women and Families in Summit. Staffed with early
childhood educators, Junior Camp, with its low camper/counselor
ratio, provides a nurturing, developmentally appropriate
experience for beginning campers. Campers are grouped by
grade.
Day Camp | June 30 - August 8
Boys and girls entering grades 2-6
Day Campers enjoy action-packed days filled with sports,
games, arts & crafts, musical theater, computer and nature,
highlighted by weekly special events such as Gold Rush,
Hawaiian Day, field trips, carnivals and visiting performers. Day Camp offers a wide variety
of sports, including archery and tennis instruction. Swimming is held four
times a week at the Connection for Women and Families
in Summit. A daily free choice time gives campers
an opportunity to choose from a variety of activities. Day campers are grouped by age and sex, but
have plenty of opportunity to form friendships with all
campers and staff.
Passport Program | June 30 - August 8
Boys & girls entering grades 7 and 8
Passport Program campers enjoy the best of both worlds! Choose from favorite Day Camp activities including archery, tennis and field sports and a wide array of Creative Arts Workshop classes. A weekly field trip, community service project, leadership games and special event days add to the enjoyment.
