Diversity Recruitment Event | April 20, 2016

Kent Place School aspires to create a school community that reflects the diversity and multicultural composition of the increasingly global community in which we live. In the recruitment of administration, faculty and staff, Kent Place School actively seeks diversity in terms of, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual identity and religion/belief system. 
Information about the Diversity Recruitment Event
Participants learn more about the school’s diversity initiatives, about what it’s like to work at an independent school, the people and programs that make Kent Place an exciting place to teach, and available openings. Students, parents, faculty, staff and administrators will be available to speak and answer questions.
Typical Schedule of Event
5:00 - 5:30 p.m. (Campus Tour)
5:30 - 6:00 p.m. (Small Panel Discussion about Campus Life)
6:00 - 6:45 p.m. (Q&A and Networking Time)
6:45 - 7:00 p.m. (Closing Remarks)

MLK Day of Service

Perspectives Day
An annual school-wide event to help provide students with various global, ethical, and identity-related perspectives on social issues, experiences and cultures.

School Swap
A Diversity Council initiative that enables students to fully experience a day in each other’s school and shoes. Students explore differences and similarities between schools and examine the impact of different gender, geographic, socioeconomic, racial and religious populations on school culture.
