Kent Place girls are multi-faceted, and there are many opportunities
for them to get support for whatever they want to do. Some of my most talented
science students are also exceptional dancers, artists, writers, athletes, and
musicians. All of the girls are involved in so many things and have so many
interests.

Teachers here give lots of individual attention. For example,
recently I gave a quiz and noticed that one of my students—a good student—got
everything wrong. She just had everything turned around. Immediately I called
her in and we spent an hour together going over the concepts. This is really
typical of what goes on at Kent Place every day. Teachers don’t just let things
go — they seek students out when they need to.

Whether I was developing our first economics course, writing
a textbook, or working on curriculum development with economics organizations,
I consistently received support from Kent Place. Because of the growth that
Kent Place has encouraged, my decades here have been satisfying, interesting,
and productive.
