Students
For the 2014-15 school year, we have a total of 636 students from 80 communities in New Jersey. 37 percent are students of color.

We have more than 170 faculty and staff members. 72 percent of faculty hold advanced degress. 20 percent are faculty and staff of color. The student to faculty ratio is 7:1.

Our Location
Location
Summit, New Jersey, is roughly 20 miles west of New York City and easily accessible by train.

Campus
Our 26-acre campus provides a comfortable and secure home for learning. The Tudor-style buildings, which house technologically equipped classrooms, science labs, art studios and music facilities, provide extensive resources for learning. The Arts Center features a large theater, the Kent Place Gallery and a dance studio. Athletic facilities include a field house (gymnasium and weight room), two multi-purpose outdoor turf fields and five tennis courts.
In Our Classrooms
Advanced Placement
Four students from the Class of 2013 achieved the distinction of National AP Scholar.

Afterschool Programs
Kent Place Kids is an extended-care program offering supervised time for play, special activities and homework for students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5. The 3:30 Club is an afterschool program for Middle School students.

College Advising
77% percent of the Class of 2013 who applied early were accepted. The Class of 2013 was admitted to an average of 5.8 colleges each (not including those who applied early decision).

Community Service
In a typical year, more than 90 percent of Upper School students devote over 8,000 hours to community service. Students have also traveled to such diverse places as Costa Rica, Guatemala, Kenya and Tanzania to engage in community service projects through our Global Service Learning Initiative.

National Merit
Our students are consistently recognized by the National Merit Scholarship program as Commended Students, Semifinalists and Finalists each year.

Technology
The campus boasts classrooms equipped for 21st Century learning with interactive boards, projectors, laptop program and a secure wireless network that supports the course of study. The Primary School is equipped with iPads for Nursery through second grade, Macbooks for Grades 3 through 5, and in our Middle and Upper Schools, every student is provided with a PC computer.
